Malakai, or Kai Lonie is an abstract and impressionist painter that works in both oil and acrylic paint. They focus on abstraction through color, texture, and composition. Similarly in their more representational and observational work, Kai focuses on bringing to life the gesture and flow of the piece through exaggerated color and brushstrokes.
Kai is currently an undergraduate student at the Massachusetts College of Art and Design.
